Internal and External Audit

SHS provides audit services at all levels of the health care delivery system. Due to the nature of contracting arrangements and delegation within California’s health care system, SHS conducts internal and external financial and management audits for purposes of operational performance, contractual oversight, and regulatory compliance.

The primary objectives of our audits are to determine profitability and solvency. However, SHS also conducts various audits for purposes of evaluating delegated responsibility or management control.
